Order & Invoice
Where can I find the invoice for my order?
If you ordered via Amazon, you will find your invoice in your Amazon account (under "Your Orders"). For orders in our online shop, the invoice is sent to you by email. Please also check your spam folder. If you still cannot find the invoice, simply contact us and we will send it again.
Can the invoice be changed later?
Yes. If, for example, you need an address correction or a change to a company name, please contact us, stating your order number and the desired adjustment. We will then issue you an adjusted invoice to ensure all information is correct.
Can I change the delivery address after placing my order?
If your delivery address has changed or you notice a typo, please let us know as soon as possible using our contact form. As long as your order hasn't been shipped yet, we can easily update the address. Unfortunately, changes are no longer possible once the order has been shipped, as the package will already be on its way to you.
Shipping & Delivery
How long does shipping take?
Within Germany, delivery usually takes 1 to 2 working days, to other EU countries 3 to 5 working days. Our trees are stored in Germany and shipped quickly. Please note that in the run-up to Christmas there may occasionally be delays due to high parcel volumes or the weather. We therefore recommend ordering your tree early so that it arrives on time.
How can I track my order?
As soon as your tree has been shipped, you receive an email with a tracking number. With this number you can check the status of your delivery on the carrier's website (DHL), so you always know where your parcel is. If there are unexpected problems or the parcel takes a long time to arrive, get in touch and we will help.
Is delivery to a packing station or post office possible?
Please note that parcel lockers only accept parcels up to certain maximum dimensions (approx. 75 × 60 × 40 cm at most). Our trees exceed these dimensions in their packaging, so they do not fit into a parcel locker. Please give a home address so the tree can be delivered safely.
How much are the shipping costs?
Shipping is free within Germany. Deliveries to other countries incur shipping costs. They are shown to you at checkout before you complete your order.
What if my desired model is sold out?
If the tree model you want is temporarily out of stock, you can sign up for it on the product page. Simply enter your email address in the notification field. We'll notify you immediately by email as soon as your desired model is available again. This way, you won't miss any restocks and can order the tree as soon as it's back in stock.
Returns & Complaints
How long is the return period?
You can return your HÅVN tree within 30 days of receipt, provided it is unused and complete (including accessories and original packaging). That gives you enough time to check the tree. Your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal remains unaffected.
What should I do if my tree arrives damaged?
If your Christmas tree arrives defective or with transport damage, do not worry, we will take care of it. Please contact our customer service straight away and give your order number. Ideally, send us a photo of the damage as well so we can see what happened. We will then find a solution right away: either we arrange a replacement tree for you or we refund the purchase price. Your Christmas should not suffer because of a damaged tree!
Do I have to pay the return shipping costs myself?
Yes, the cost of returning the goods is generally borne by the buyer. For a return we provide a return label and charge a flat fee of €9.99 within Germany and €19.99 from other EU countries. This flat fee covers the shipping cost of sending back the large parcel. If it is a justified complaint (e.g. transport damage or a wrong delivery), we of course cover the costs in full.
Do I have a guarantee on my tree?
Your HÅVN Christmas tree is covered by the statutory warranty of 2 years for material and manufacturing defects. This means that if defects due to production faults appear within two years of purchase, you are entitled to the statutory warranty rights. We do not currently offer an additional voluntary manufacturer's guarantee. If you have a problem within that period, simply contact us and we will find a solution.
Structure & handling
How does the structure of the tree work?
The tree is delivered in a few manageable parts. Depending on its size, your HÅVN tree consists of two to four sections that you plug on top of each other in order of size. You assemble the stand with the accessories supplied, no additional tools needed. Then you spread out the branches and bend them into shape. Allow about 45 to 60 minutes for the first assembly, most of it for arranging the branches. Printed assembly instructions are included in the parcel.
Do you offer video instructions for assembly?
Yes, we have step-by-step assembly videos that make the process even easier. You will find these videos on our website in the "Help" or FAQ section, and some also on our YouTube channel. There you can see exactly how the individual tree sections are put together. Many customers find the video instructions very helpful for getting the tree into shape the first time. So have a quick look at the video before you start, and assembly will go more smoothly.
Does the height information include the stand?
Yes, the tree heights we specify already include the tree stand. So you don't need to add any extra height. For example, if a tree is listed as 180 cm tall, it will measure approximately 180 cm from the ground (including the stand) to the top. Minor deviations of +/- 1 cm may occur due to production reasons. Overall, however, you can rest assured that the tree with the stand will be approximately as tall as described. This way, you can choose the right size for your home without any surprises regarding the final height.
Can I also put the tree outdoors?
Our HÅVN Christmas trees are designed for indoor use only. The materials could suffer from the weather (rain, snow, UV radiation) if used outdoors permanently. If you want to use the tree briefly, for an outdoor event for example, make sure it is protected from moisture. In general, however, we advise against it. For outdoor use there are special weatherproof artificial trees. Our focus is on trees for indoors, so that you enjoy their look and quality for a long time.
Can I use fairy lights and Christmas tree decorations?
Yes, you can decorate your HÅVN tree just like a real Christmas tree. All standard fairy lights, baubles, figures and hangers can be attached without any problem. The branches of our trees are sturdy enough to carry somewhat heavier decorations too, and the stand supplied keeps the tree secure. Even with lots of decoration, the tree stands firm and straight. Just make sure not to wind the fairy lights directly around the trunk (to avoid a cable tangle) and preferably use LED lights (they do not get hot). Have fun decorating!
Care & Storage
What is the best way to clean the artificial tree?
A big advantage of your HÅVN tree: it does not shed needles. Even so, some dust can settle on the branches over time. The easiest way is to wipe the tree occasionally with a soft, dry cloth or a feather duster. Please do not use harsh cleaning agents, as they could attack the material or cause discolouration. You should also avoid water or very damp cloths, as moisture can make metal parts (e.g. screws on the trunk) prone to rust. Gentle dry cleaning is entirely sufficient to make your tree look fresh again. Tip: when you take the tree down, dust it right before storing it, so it stays clean in the bag.
How do I store the tree after Christmas?
It is best to keep the tree in a dry, cool place away from light until the next holidays. Ideally, store it in the storage bag supplied. Our bags are designed so that the dismantled tree fits in well and is protected. It is important that the storage place is not damp and not exposed to direct sunlight. Great heat or UV light could affect the material over a long time. Proper storage ensures that your tree looks good for years.
How long will my tree last?
With good care and proper storage you can use your artificial Christmas tree for many years. It does not dry out or shed needles, so you do not have to buy a new tree every year.

How natural does the tree look?
Depending on the model, HÅVN trees are made of 100 % injection-moulded PE (Livgrön) or a mix of injection-moulded PE and PVC (Nordlys). In injection moulding, every needle is shaped individually in three dimensions, which gives a sculpted, matt green look. On the Nordlys, injection-moulded needles sit at the outer branch tips, while PVC branches inside provide fullness.
Are the materials tested?
Yes. The needle material has been tested for harmful substances by an independent laboratory: no detectable phthalates, PAHs, lead or cadmium. The fire behaviour is tested to 16 CFR 1500.3(c)(6)(vi). The trees are low-odour and intended for indoor use. They are not toys: keep small parts away from children.
What do I do if a part is missing?
In the unlikely event that a part of your tree is missing (e.g. a connecting piece or part of the stand), please contact our customer service. Have your order number ready and tell us which part is missing. We will make sure the missing part is sent to you promptly, free of charge of course. Our aim is for your tree to arrive complete and ready to use. Missing parts are very rare, but if it happens, we will sort it out quickly and without fuss so you can assemble your tree completely.
How is my tree packaged?
Your HÅVN tree is delivered in a sturdy cardboard box. The branches are not individually wrapped in plastic, the tree is secured inside the box. Individual protective parts on the tree are made of plastic. After unpacking, put the box and protective parts into your recycling collection.
Why do the different models have different prices?
The price differences between our tree models depend on several factors.
Size: Larger trees need more material and more elaborate production, which is reflected in the price.
Material: Trees with a high share of injection moulding (especially 100 % injection-moulded PE) are more expensive to make and therefore priced higher. In return, every needle is shaped individually. Mixed trees made of PE and PVC are somewhat cheaper to produce and therefore lower in price, but look very good too.
It is important to us to offer something for every budget, from the Nordlys mix model to the Livgrön made of 100 % injection moulding, and to keep the value for money fair.
Is an artificial Christmas tree fireproof? Can I light real candles on it?
No, no artificial Christmas tree is fireproof. Do not use real candles or any open flame on the tree. The needle material is tested for its fire behaviour to 16 CFR 1500.3(c)(6)(vi), but it is not non-combustible. If plastic catches fire, it produces very hot flames and toxic smoke.
LED fairy lights are the right alternative: they produce hardly any heat. Also, do not place the tree right next to a radiator or fireplace.
