Livgrön or Nordlys: the comparison
Livgrön and Nordlys are the two artificial Christmas trees by HÅVN. The Livgrön is made of 100 % injection-moulded PE and has a slim shape. The Nordlys combines injection-moulded PE tips with PVC branches and looks fuller. Both stand on a solid wood stand with metal centre piece and come with a storage bag, gloves and instructions.

When the Livgrön fits
The Livgrön is the right tree if you also look at it close up: every needle is individually injection-moulded, and there are no film branches inside. The shape is slim, the branches fold down on hinges. With four sizes from 150 to 240 cm it covers rooms with ceiling heights from 2.20 m to over 2.90 m.
When the Nordlys fits
The Nordlys is the right tree if you are looking for a full, dense Christmas tree at a lower price. The injection-moulded PE tips define the needle look, the PVC branches fill out the tree. It is plugged together in the classic way and is available in 180 and 220 cm.

Which tree looks denser?
The Nordlys. The PVC branches inside fill the gaps. The Livgrön has more branch tips but has a slimmer shape and leaves branch forks visible.
Which tree is quicker to put up?
The first time, you need about 45 minutes for the Livgrön and 45 to 60 minutes for the Nordlys. In both cases most of the time goes into arranging the twigs.
Are both trees available in 180 cm?
Yes. At 180 cm both have a diameter of 125 cm. The Livgrön then consists of 3 sections and has a shipping weight of 14.3 kg, the Nordlys of 2 sections and 12.9 kg.
