1. Set up the stand
Place the solid wood stand on level ground (depending on the model, it is pre-assembled or you screw the feet to the centre piece, key included).
2. Plug in the tree sections
Place the bottom section in the centre piece, then plug on the other sections from bottom to top until they sit firmly.
3. Fold down the branches and arrange the twigs
Fold the branches down at the hinges, they lock into position. Then, from bottom to top, spread the twigs outwards and slightly upwards, with the outer tips slightly downwards. Close gaps by arranging neighbouring twigs.
Decorating
Lay the fairy lights in a spiral from the inside out, spread baubles evenly, heavy pieces close to the trunk. Only use fairy lights with CE marking, no candles.
Location: level ground, not right next to a radiator or fireplace, not in direct sunlight, indoors only.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is the Livgrön more expensive than the Nordlys?
Injection moulding is more complex to produce than PVC film. On the Nordlys only the tips are injection-moulded, on the Livgrön every needle is. If you sit close to the tree, you see the difference.
Can you tell it is artificial?
Hardly from a normal distance, and even close up the needles look as if they had grown. You notice the difference when you touch it.
How does the hinged branch system work?
The branches hang on hinges on the trunk. After plugging the sections together, you fold them down, they lock into place, then you arrange the twigs. When you take the tree down, you fold them up again.
How long does assembly take?
About 45 minutes the first time, faster after that because the twigs are already shaped.
Does the 240 cm tree stand securely?
The solid wood stand with metal centre piece is designed for all four sizes. Set it up on level ground, decorate evenly, heavy pieces close to the trunk.
Which size fits under my ceiling?
Take 10 to 15 cm off your ceiling height, or 20 to 30 cm with a star or angel on top. At 2.40 m the 180 cm tree is the right choice, from 2.60 m the 210 cm, from 2.90 m the 240 cm.
Does the tree smell of plastic?
The Livgrön is low-odour. A slight smell after unpacking disappears within a day.
Can I add fairy lights?
Yes, any standard fairy lights with CE marking. No candles or open flame.
How do I store the tree?
Fold up the branches, separate the sections, put them in the bag supplied, store dry and cool.

Who the Livgrön is made for
The Livgrön is our artificial Nordmann fir for everyone who wants a tree that convinces close up too. Every needle is injection-moulded on the model of real fir needles, with a soft tip and a natural colour gradient. Unlike mixed trees, there are no film branches inside. The silhouette is slim and evenly tiered, with branch forks that give baubles and fairy lights room. You choose between 150, 180, 210 and 240 cm, each measured including the stand, and so find the artificial Christmas tree that fits your ceiling height. If a particularly full tree at a lower price matters more to you, the Nordlys in a mix of injection-moulded PE and PVC is the alternative.
Assembly: fold instead of plug
The hinged branch system keeps assembly short: plug the sections together, fold the branches down, arrange the twigs, done. The grey solid wood stand with metal centre piece gives the injection-moulded Christmas tree a steady footing, even at 240 cm.
